Dear Friends,
On behalf of The Participation House Project (Durham Region), we would like to extend a 'big thank you' for your generous donation in support of our 3rd Annual Celebrate Every-Body! Auction & Dinner held on November 22nd, 2011 at East Side Mario's - Oshawa Centre.
We sincerely appreciate the generous contributions of our partners, support from families and friends of PH, which made this event memorable. The good food, live entertainment, and good cheer were a common theme amongst the present.
We raised close to $3,000; and hoping to raise more at our next fundraising event in Spring 2012. These very necessary funds will help us provide support and services to adults with Developmental Disabilities in Durham.
The Participation House Project ("PH") is driven to enhance the quality of life for people with physical and developmental disabilities. Every day we provide residential services through a person-directed approach. Our programs teach life skills, promote independence, and provide various levels of support, which will assist individuals with a disability with an increased independence at home and in the community.
Our commitment to acceptance and adaptability to change is more than just providing exceptional service. We see the person beyond the disability and encourage them to grow to reach their dreams and desired goals.
Without the continued generosity of our partners, family members, community members and supporting businesses, our programs and events would not succeed. Thank you again, for your continued support!
