Life Readiness Program – Now Accepting Applications:
The Life Readiness Program (LRP) is a unique, week-long overnight experience held at the Residences at Durham College. Designed for individuals 18+ with developmental disabilities, LRP focuses on building independence through hands-on learning and community involvement.
Participants arrive Monday at 9:00 AM and depart Friday at 4:00 PM.
Highlights include skill-building in:
• Meal planning and preparation
• Budgeting and shopping
• Public transit use
• Community safety and awareness
• Social and wellness development
